Saba Ahmed is a distinguished Patent Attorney with extensive experience across private, corporate, and government sectors. She holds an LLM in Law and Government with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law from American University Washington College of Law, a Juris Doctorate focused on Intellectual Property and Patent Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, an MBA in Finance and Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Portland, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Portland State University.


Currently, Saba serves as a Patent Examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, specializing in database and artificial intelligence technologies within Technology Center 2100. Her diverse background includes roles as a Judicial Clerk for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and an IP Litigation Law Clerk at Holland & Knight, LLP, where she honed her expertise in intellectual property law, patent prosecution, and high-stakes litigation support. She also has extensive experience in document review and coding in complex areas such as antitrust, financial law, and data breaches through her work with Epiq, Beacon Hill, and other prominent legal contracting firms.



Saba brings a rich blend of engineering, project management, and legal acumen to her role as Of Counsel at Farmer & Coker, PLLC, where her in-depth knowledge of IP law and government relations will be instrumental in delivering tailored solutions for our clients.
